Who am I?!

Hi! I'm Angela!

Born and raised in San Jose, California, I have always been curious, creative, and open-minded. I discovered my passion for art early, starting with traditional mediums and more recently expanding into digital practice. Alongside visual art, I love exploring creativity through reading (mostly fantasy), writing, gaming, music, and worldbuilding— crafting characters and fictional worlds that I one day hope to make a consumable media with. I’m currently a second-year student at Evergreen Valley College, pursuing my studies in art while navigating the ever-evolving creative industry.
Originally, I planned to major in English, as I was torn between my love for literature and art, and I thought being an English teacher would offer more stability than an artistic career. But on the way to speak with my counselors, my father encouraged me to follow my true passion—and I’m grateful I did. The amount of work an art major takes on is exhausting- but I'll choose it over lengthy essays anyday! While I sometimes feel apprehensive about the challenges of the creative field, especially with the current debates around AI and art, I remain hopeful about building a meaningful and sustainable career doing what I love. AI can't replicate that- yet!
